I take photos to record how things fit together — the structural beauty, the sense of order, the way things are positioned and organized, in nature or in artifacts.
I photograph how human creations interact with the natural environment, often in visually unexpected or creative ways.
I’m also fascinated by visual parallels across geography and culture — the similar landscapes and human behaviors that appear even in places far apart.
At the same time, for me, photography is a way of collecting, of garnering evidence and primary sources that hold information, so they can be shared and carried forward.
